Connect and monitor an account
- Open your workspace and add a primary account using its TikTok handle.
- Select Connect and authorize the correct account on TikTok. Never enter a TikTok password into Pulseboard.
- Refresh metrics to verify the first successful API check. A later check is needed to measure growth.
- Confirm that background sync is running in Launch setup. Leaving the dashboard open is not a substitute for the scheduler.
What the board means
Monitoring collects a baseline. Warning highlights at least 5,000 views with observed like growth within a selected milestone window. VIRAL starts at 20,000 views. Needs attention takes precedence when neither views nor likes has grown for 24 hours of continuous observation. A monitoring gap longer than 30 minutes restarts that observation period.
Which videos appear?
Initial discovery checks up to 100 recent public videos per primary account from the last seven days. Previously discovered videos are monitored for up to 30 days. Private, unavailable and older undiscovered videos may not appear. Counts can update later than the TikTok app.
Alternate accounts and comments
Keep alternate accounts in their dedicated section and assign follow-up notes. Pulseboard does not switch TikTok accounts or publish comments. Open the video on TikTok, choose an appropriate authorized account, and post any genuine reply manually. Alternate accounts count toward the same 40-account limit.
Disconnect, export or remove data
Use Export for a credential-free JSON file. Use Remove in Accounts to delete that account and its local monitoring records. Revoke Pulseboard in TikTok's account settings to end TikTok authorization. Contact the operator to request remaining activity data deletion.
Connection problems
Check Launch setup for missing configuration and recent checks. Check the account's error message before reconnecting. TikTok may reject access until the app, scopes and Sandbox target account are correctly configured. Production review is separate from Sandbox testing.
